Financial Literacy Initiative
Savvy 🐝 was a project designed for Guatemalan children and young people to promote financial education and inclusion. More than just a tool, it served as a digital ally for parents, carefully designed to foster good habits, instill responsibilities, and encourage children to learn about money management from an early age.
What made Savvy stand out was its gamified experience, making financial learning not only accessible but also engaging and fun. With this proposal, we achieved 2nd place in the first edition of Dmentes (2024), a competition organized by Bantrab to recognize university innovation in Guatemala. As part of the award, we received a scholarship to the Next Gen Program at INCAE Business School, Costa Rica (August 2024).
